The TCA9517 is an I2C level converter and signal reconstructor chip. It can assist in solving the problem of level mismatch between different I2C buses. The chip supports bi-directional cascade conversion from and to two different I2C buses, as well as level shifting and signal reconstruction. With the TCA9517, you can communicate between I2C devices with different levels without worrying about the problems that level mismatch may cause.
